I made the heartshaped chocolate cake for Mike for Valentine's Day. The cake is torted, filled and frosted with chocolate buttercream frosting, and decorated with off-white cane sugar.
The white cake is a chocolate cake frosted and filled with white buttercream frosting and decorated with red sanding sugar. Charlie and I brought the cake to a Valentine's playdate party and the other moms and kids loved it. Charlie would have nothing to do with it.
